BeingTribal exists to help women leaders remember who they are, build their tribe, and lead their ripple. That work depends on trust — so we're straightforward about what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This policy explains it all in plain language.

Information you provide
When you create an account, complete the intake form, join a program, or book a discovery call, we collect the details you choose to share — such as your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and any reflections, journal entries, or responses you enter into the app.
Information collected automatically
We receive basic technical data when you use the app — device type, browser, approximate region, and how you interact with our content. This helps us keep the app secure and improve the experience.
Payment information
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We only retain records of transactions linked to your account for your history and our records.
How We Use Your Information
To serve you
We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver the programs and resources you've chosen, respond to your questions, and send you welcome emails, reminders, and updates you've opted into.
To personalize your journey
Your reflections, journal entries, core values, and progress help us tailor guidance, suggest relevant trainings, and connect you with women who share your heart through Tribe Match.
To protect and improve
We monitor for abuse, keep our community safe, and continuously refine what we offer based on how members engage — never by selling your data.
How We Share Your Information
We never sell your data
Your information is never sold to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
Trusted service providers
We work with a small number of trusted partners — including Stripe for payments and our hosting platform for data storage — who process information only to help us run the app, under strict confidentiality and security obligations.
When required by law
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect our rights or safety, or to respond to a lawful request from authorities.
Community features
Content you choose to post in the Tribal Circle is visible to other members. Core Values you mark as public are visible to other members for Tribe Match. You control these settings at any time.
How We Protect Your Information
Security safeguards
We use encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure to protect your information. Only authorized team members can access account data, and only when needed to support you.
Row-level privacy
Your private reflections, journal entries, and progress are visible only to you. Other members cannot see your private content unless you choose to share it.
No guarantee
No system is perfectly secure. We do our best, but we can't guarantee absolute security of any information transmitted over the internet.
Your Rights & Choices
Access & update
You can view and update your profile information at any time within the app. You can make your Core Values private or public whenever you choose.
Opt out of emails
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out of non-essential communications without losing access to your account.
Request your data
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you by contacting us at rena@beingtribal.com.
Delete your account
You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Data Retention
How long we keep data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
After you leave
When you close your account, we begin a process to delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, unless we're required to retain it.
Children's Privacy
Not for children
BeingTribal is designed for adult women leaders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date below and, for significant changes, notify you within the app or by email.
